Pennock Road Pottery
For me, growing and designing local flowers, and creating local pottery, really are twin passions. In both cases I get to take local prairie soil and transform it into something beautiful! Pottery allows me to take a handful of Saskatchewan clay and build a piece of art that will bring beauty and function to your daily life.
Caring for your pottery:
With a little TLC, you will be able to enjoy your pottery for years to come.
All of my pottery is dishwasher and microwave safe, with the exception of pieces decorated with white or yellow gold. Some example of the white and yellow gold pieces include: snowflake “frosty” mugs, Christmas tree mugs, and dragonfly mugs. These use genuine 22k gold overlay, which is more delicate than a typical glaze. Dishwasher detergents can be very harsh and might erode some of the gold over time. An occasional run through the dishwasher isn’t the end of the world, but I don’t recommend it as a regular practice. Please do not microwave the gold pieces. Enjoy!
